1. Our commitment
RELAYLANE LABS LTD wants The Third Connection to be usable by everyone, including disabled people. We are committed to improving the accessibility of our app and website over time, using WCAG 2.2 level AA as our target standard, and to making reasonable adjustments so disabled users can use our service and attend our events.
2. Current state
We have not yet completed a formal WCAG 2.2 AA audit of the app or website, and this statement does not claim conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA. We design with accessible components and are working towards WCAG 2.2 AA. Once a formal assessment is complete, we will update this section with the conformance status, the known limitations found, and the date and scope of testing.
What we can say today:
- The app and website are built on a shared design system, which is where our accessibility work (colour contrast, type scale, touch-target sizing, screen-reader labelling) is concentrated so that fixes propagate to every screen.
- Our events are held at third-party venues. Venue step-free access and other physical accessibility features vary by event; contact us before booking and we will tell you what we know about the venue and what adjustments we can make.
3. Legal position
- Equality Act 2010 (UK). We recognise our anticipatory duty under section 29 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people — a duty that applies to us now, at any size, and that we owe in advance rather than only on request. This statement, the feedback channel below, and the design-system workstream are part of meeting it.
- European Accessibility Act (EU). The EAA has applied to e-commerce services since 28 June 2025. RELAYLANE LABS LTD currently falls within the microenterprise services exemption (fewer than 10 staff and turnover/balance sheet ≤ €2m), so the EAA's service obligations do not currently bind us. We are aware this exemption is lost on growth and is a size threshold, not an accessibility ceiling: we treat WCAG 2.2 AA as the target regardless, and will complete an EAA gap review before any EU launch or before approaching the thresholds.
4. Feedback and requests
If you have difficulty using any part of the app or website, need content in another format, or want to ask about venue accessibility for an event:
- Email: support@thethirdconnection.com
- Post: RELAYLANE LABS LTD, Lavender Cottage Hazelden Farm, Marden Road, Cranbrook, England, TN17 2LP
Please tell us what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and what device and assistive technology you were using (if any). Accessibility feedback goes into the same tracked queue as other support issues, and we use it to prioritise fixes.
5. Roadmap
- Accessibility testing and fixes at design-system level so improvements reach every screen;
- A formal WCAG 2.2 AA assessment of the app and website, after which section 2 will be rewritten from evidence;
- An EAA gap review before EU launch or growth beyond the microenterprise thresholds;
- Publishing venue accessibility information on event pages where the venue provides it.
6. Enforcement and complaints
If you are not happy with how we respond to an accessibility issue, you can use the escalation route in our Complaints and Customer Support Policy. In the UK, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you on your rights under the Equality Act 2010.
