Intellectual Property & Takedown Policy

1. Purpose

The Third Connection ("TTC", "we") respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how rights holders can report content on our service that they believe infringes their copyright, trade mark, or other intellectual property rights, and what we do about it.

Content on our service that may involve intellectual property includes:

• Profile photos uploaded by users;
• Profile text (display names, interests presentation) created by users;
• Event imagery and descriptions published by us or by event hosts.

This is a UK-first policy. TTC is operated from the United Kingdom by RELAYLANE LABS LTD and this policy is framed around UK law, including the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the hosting-liability framework applicable to UK service providers. We are not registered with the US Copyright Office as a DMCA designated agent and this policy does not claim DMCA safe-harbour status; if we launch in the US we will register a DMCA designated agent and add a DMCA-specific notice-and-takedown section.

2. What users agree to

Under our Terms of Service (document 02), users must only upload content they own or have permission to use. Uploading someone else's photograph as your own profile photo, or content that infringes another person's rights, is a breach of the Terms and may also be a safety issue (impersonation), which can be reported through the in-app report function.

3. How to report infringement

Send infringement notices to:

• Email: support@thethirdconnection.com — put "IP Notice" in the subject line
• Post: RELAYLANE LABS LTD, Lavender Cottage Hazelden Farm, Marden Road, Cranbrook, England, TN17 2LP
• In-app: use the report function on the relevant profile (suitable for impersonation or stolen-photo reports by users; rights holders who are not users should use email or post).

4. What a valid notice must contain

To let us act quickly, your notice must include:

1. Identification of the work you claim is infringed (e.g. the original photograph, with evidence you own it or act for the owner);
2. Identification of the infringing material on our service, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g. the profile display name, event page URL, and a screenshot);
3. Your name, postal address, and email address;
4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law;
5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
6. Your signature (physical or electronic).

We may ask for further information before acting. Deliberately false or abusive notices may expose the sender to legal liability and may be disregarded.

5. What we do on receipt

1. We acknowledge receipt of a valid notice as soon as we reasonably can.
2. We review the material against the notice. Where the notice appears well founded, we remove or disable access to the material promptly.
3. We notify the user who uploaded the material that it has been removed and why, and record the action.
4. Where the report also indicates impersonation or another safety issue, it is escalated through our trust and safety process.

6. Counter-notice

If your content was removed following an infringement notice and you believe the removal was mistaken (for example, you own the content or have a licence), you may send a counter-notice to the same contact points in section 3, including:

1. Identification of the removed material;
2. An explanation of why you believe the removal was mistaken, with any supporting evidence;
3. Your name and contact details;
4. A statement that the information provided is accurate.

We will review counter-notices and may restore content where the counter-notice is well founded. Where there is a genuine dispute between the parties, we may keep the material down pending resolution between the parties or by a court, and we will tell both sides what we have decided.

7. Repeat infringers

We operate a repeat-infringer approach: users who repeatedly upload infringing content, or whose accounts are used for serious infringement (including impersonation using another person's photographs), may have content removed, features restricted, or their account terminated in accordance with the Terms of Service. Enforcement actions are recorded.

8. Our own content

All TTC branding, the app, the website, event formats, and imagery we publish are the property of RELAYLANE LABS LTD or its licensors. Nothing in this policy grants any licence to use them. To report misuse of TTC's own intellectual property by third parties, use the contacts in section 3.
